The Only Man That Matters.

It’s the anniversary of Joe Strummer’s death and we remember him in a special way here on Tumblr. Photos and beautiful quote are every where and it’s nice we are mostly keeping this positive with grand memories of Joe and The Clash. We are working diligently on The Only Man That Matters and we have high hopes of completing the book for all of you before this year is out!

Here’s my final submission to The Only Man that Matters along with my drawing:
If not for the Clash, I don’t think I would have ever truly appreciated music for what it is. There is no doubt that Joe Strummer understood the significance of words; he crafted a sound and a message that so eloquently spoke to so many. Anyone can see that Joe’s kind heart and wisdom are written in his lyrics, and I’m glad to have found so many people my age who recognize this as well. So thank you, Joe, for instilling in me an even greater love of music, and for teaching us all the value of persistence and the importance of speaking up.
